Day 1 :- Arrive Cochin

Pick up from Airport and transfer to Hotel.  Check into the hotel.

Kochi (colonial name Cochin) is a vibrant city situated on the south-west coast of the Indian peninsula in the breathtakingly scenic and prosperous state of Kerala, hailed as ‘God’s Own Country’.  Visit the Dutch Palace-built by the Portuguese in 1557 and subsequently renovated by the Dutch after 1663. The murals are perhaps the best in India. Jewish Synagogue – built in 1568 and the oldest Synagogue in the Commonwealth are at Mattancherry. St. Francis Church – built in 1510 and the oldest European church in India, Chinese Fishing Nets- introduced by the court of Kublai Khan can be seen in Fort Cochin. Fort Cochin Beach etc. Evening back to the hotel and overnight.

Day 2:- Munnar

This hill station was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in south India. Sprawling Tea Plantations, Picture-book towns, winding lanes and holiday facilities make this a popular resort town.

 On the way visit Valara, Cheeyappara waterfalls & Tea Plantations. On arrival at Munnar transfer to Hotel. Check in at Hotel. Afternoon visit Rajamala (Eravikulam National Park – open as per the directions by the forest authorities ), the best place to see Nilgiri Tahr (Hermitragus Hilarious) – the mountain goat of South India & Tea Musium. Evening have a short visit at Munnar town. You can see the beautiful tea estates like a green paradise.

Day 3:- Munnar

Tea-Garden-MunnarAfter Breakfast you can go for sightseeing in Munnar,proceed for sightseeing. Maduppatty dam ,Echo Point, Kundalay Dam,Pothenmedu View Point, Blossom Park etc

 Mattupetty Lake and Dam is a very beautiful picnic spot [DTPC Idukki provides Boating in the Dam]. Echo point – The scenic place gets its name from the natural echo phenomenon. And Kundale Dam – It’s a picturesque on the way to Top station. The Golf Course, which belongs to Tata Tea Ltd., is located here. The Kundala Artificial dam is another attraction.

Day 4 :- Thekkady

Anayirangal-Dam-MunnarAfter Breakfast check out from your hotel and proceed to Thekkady on the way visit Lockhart Gap – The fresh Mountain air, the mist-clad hills and panoramic view make it worthy of a visit, Powerhouse waterfalls and Anayirangal Dam.

 Thekkady is a world famous wildlife sanctuary and it is also called as Periyar. On arrival check in Hotel Afternoon proceed for a game viewing cruise on the Periyar Lake. Here you will be able to see a large variety of wildlife, which include elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar etc evening you can take a Elephant ride at Periyar wild life and rest of the day is at leisure.

Visit Spice Plantations of Cardamom, Coffee, Tea, Pepper Etc…

Day 5:- Alleppy Houseboat

Houseboat-ThekkadyAfter Breakfast, check out and proceed to Alleppey.

Around 1200 hrs check in at the Houseboat and start your cruise through the rich and splendid backwater. Just relax at the deluxe houseboat. It will be a unique and exclusive experience in your lifetime. You will be cruising along the village sides and paddy fields witnessing the core life of the Kerala villages for the whole day. The house boat is fully furnished with bedrooms and a kitchen.  Lunch and Dinner and overnight at the houseboat.

Day 6 :- Alleppy-Kovalam

GoaAfter Breakfast check out from Houseboat and proceed to Kovalam.

Check in to your hotel. Kovalam is an internationally renowned beach with three adjacent crescent beaches. It has been a favourite haunt of tourists, especially Europeans, since the 1930s. A massive rocky promontory on the beach has created a beautiful bay of calm waters ideal for sea bathing. The leisure options at this beach are plenty and diverse-sunbathing, swimming, herbal body toning massages, special cultural programmes, Catamaran cruising etc. Evening leisure at Beach.  Overnight stay at hotel in Kovalam.

Day  7:- Kovalam-Kanyakumari-Kovalam

Enjoy goaAfter breakfast drive to Kanyakumari.Proceed for a local sightseeing tour of Kanyakumari.

The major attractions are the Kumari Amman or the Kanyakumari Temple, located on the shore, is a Shakti Peetha dedicated to a manifestation of Parvati, the virgin goddess who did penance to obtain Lord Shiva’s hand in marriage.

Two rocks reach out of the ocean, southeast of the Kumari Amman temple. At one of these, Sri Padaparai, which is said to bear the footprints of the virgin goddess.

Swami Vivekananda is said to have sat in deep meditation. It is also the site of Vivekananda Rock Memorial built in 1970. There is a dhyanamandapam, an area for meditation. Ferry services are available to reach the memorial
